Essendon’s shock win
Essendon fans have been left with more questions after the team ran riot against St Kilda on Friday night.
The Bombers have been utterly disappointing in 2022, putting together only three wins for the year consisting of Adelaide, Hawthorn, and the Saints.
Essendon led from the get-go and only conceded the lead for a matter of minutes in the first quarter, but were ruthless in their game play, taking the ball from end-to-end with forward handball and quick movement.
Led by Peter Wright with four goals, the Bombers put on 32 scores to 17 and the margin probably flattered the lowly St Kilda outfit who lost by 35 points.
Essendon now face West Coast on Friday night and will look to add another win against the struggling Eagles after regaining some momentum following a strong fortnight.
